i cant believe the last time i blogged was on tue night. its thursday night now; well technically its friday morning.

yesterday was spent at the medlib in an attempt to mug out.
we ponned fob lab to go down hampden to stock out on motivation food.
came back with one packet of nasi lemak, one packet of teriyaki chicken rice, one tiamo mudpie, one tiamo cheesecake, one packet of chips, one brumby's doughnut, and one packet of pinklady apples(:
the walk back at 930pm was scary. dark and empty and scary.
the plan was that if anything happened, we'd drop our bags and run.
i was seriously scared lah.

then there was lab today.
we had to prick our fingers and draw blood out for Hb count, blah blah blah. it was freaky enough(not because i was afraid of blood or sharps or whatever but because i was afraid of it being DONE ON ME).
then comes the second part- we were to "make 3 quick, firm incisions in the forearm with a blood lancet" and record the time needed for the blood to clot. it was both sick and disturbing. we tried, but 3 jabs with the lancet into my arm was painful enough and we didnt continue with the 3 incisions.
okay, its not so much the pain, more so on how the idea is so warped.
i ended up with 3 tiny red spots on my forearm, thats all.
i see what is on the arms of the others, and i freak out.
i'm sorry, but its just wrong though its a lab exercise. isnt there any other way to measure the clotting of blood? or some other location?
its eerie to me, it really is.

the difference between this sem and last is that now i can no longer bank on jc bio to pull through. everything is like its from scratch.
which means i have crazy alot to do.
blah.
