it was a sleepless night last night.
therefore i went to bed straight after lunch and slept. and slept and slept and slept till i heard repeated pounding on the door. after 10 minutes of non stop pounding, i opened it and saw the delivery man with a parcel, a balloon attached to it, and a pretty bouquet of yellow geberras, daisies, roses and lilies.
and because it was so sweet and girly, i knew it had to be from daddy and mommy. the delivery guy warned me that i had to keep the bouquet upright because of all the water in it; so i had no choice but to stuff it in my dustbin(yes, u read it correct. but i layered it with a clean plastic bag first la)
the chocolate turned out to be truffles! and yes the bouquet pretty much made me happy, though it arrived one day early to the horror of mom and dad who now insist "the flower shop cant be trusted with even simple things like that" lol.
and it came with a card that said this. though obviously was writeen by the florist because it came from stirling highway, nedlands. haha. but thanks mommy and daddy, your little princess loves it:)
and then at 12am while sitting at my desk and stressing over everything, the electricity in my room went out. pitch black. and because someone like me doesnt plug in her lappy batt, even it got shut off. so i sat there in pitch darkness and tried to find my phone to call abi.
but mommy called halfway so i ended up talking to her. IN THE DARK. apparently the blackout was supposed to lure me out so they were all outside my door with this candle waiting for me to come out; but cos mommy called they ended up waiting till the flame went out. HAHA. ohman, anticlimax.
THANKS GUYS FOR THE SURPRISE. and thanks to the GUYS for not throwing me in the duck pond(seriously, why am i thanking you? lol) but yes, thanks to bladders and girlfriend for sacrificing study time to go shop for a present for me. and abi dearie who totally threw me off track with the go-to-human-lab thingy. bladders! i cant believe you bought all those girly stuff with girlfriend. and because the darlings couldnt find the cake shop, i had a "specially" designed heart shape tiramisu from abi and bladders. LOL.
oh, and because yesterday i was on skype with abi and telling her all about my newly found pretty car, which is so ex i prob would have to spend 10 years saving up on, she stuck this on my birthday present:)

ah, thanks to everyone for remembering and girlfriend! all the girly little things in the box rock:) esp the little " high maintenance" mints:)
