tired. again.

i slept for 3 hours last night cos i couldnt sleep. and then had to drag myself out of bed to the toilet at 730am this morning in the cold. blah.

i had to look at pork chop again. stupid pig. at least today is officially the last time i have to dissect her. it was the nervous system so we had to cut up the entire back and skull and i tried to get away with it by pretending to fiddle around and acting like i was going to cut it up. but i realised it was no use so i cut it up anyways.

roslyn and i were both so sick of our pigs we decided to cut up mine together. it was like, one person hold the skin, one person cut the skin, sort of thing. when we finally cut through the ribcage and saw this long tube we were so excited and were like, yay we found the spinal cord! to which evelyn turned around and told us that it was the aorta and not the spinal cord. BLAH.

and we realised that the spinal cord is inside the veterbral column and not running parallel. ohman i feel so dumb. so we cut it open enough for us to see it, and left there till the lesson ended.

goodness. these 5-6 consecutive weeks of looking at dissected fetal pigs with their guts spilling out and their ventral body wall with so many incisions and flapping around have put me off ever wanting to dissect a pig again. any animal, but a pig. yuck.

today's the first day of school and i was falling asleep in everything. didnt understand bsd and fell asleep during fob. this is bad.

i need to start studying. mgc mid sems this friday and bsd mid sems the next.

to think that there is go carting this saturday and then our dimsumRELAY:) this sunday.


argh.
