dentistry, its about perfection.

we've spent about 12 hours (more or less) working on our plasticine tooth. mine is nowhere near PERFECTION. and they keep insisting on perfection. i'm contented, but i wouldnt say i'm pleased with my work. ah, well. there's this guy in my class his tooth is perfect. i seriously mean its so perfect you cant tell which is plasticine which is plaster. the cusps and grooves and everything are the exact replica. and so i refuse to look at it to give myself more stress (: LOL.

finally, there's something i can spend hours looking and doing and gain satisfaction out of (aside from chem, that is haha).

as of today i have been here for 1 month and 1 week. my social life here is virtually non-existent. firstly cos i simply have no time. my weekdays are packed and there's church on weekends not to mention, cell. i have 2 weeks to do 3 MAJOR essays and study for 1 test. i am only free after dinner everyday to complete all these.

secondly, its cos there really isnt much to do here. even if i wanted to go for drinks late at night, i cant. no car, and dont ask me to take public transport. i'd probably get mugged, and even if nothing happens to me the streets are too dark to navigate without a flashlight. (ok i'm exaggerating but you get the point la lol)

its mid march and its still sunny and warm. according to the weather forecast here tmr it'd be cold. autumn is late! at least we can rely on the forecast here. its really accurate. unlike back home (ahem) haha. when they say it rains here, it really does rain and you dont bring your brolly out for nothing.

i'm craving for a cadbury brunch bar and cadbury freddo milk chocolate. ARGH.
